This timeline includes events the players have learned about during their travels and studies.

  • Drakhalyx and Solaxignaar Battle

    Drakhalyx, the mightiest of the ancient red dragons battles the great gold wyrm Solaxignaar for control of the daytime skies. Both are wounded and scarred, but survive. During the fight, Solaxignaar breaks off one of Drakhalyx’s fangs.

  • Caladom Forges Artifacts from Drakhalyx’s Fang

    The Dark Wizard Caladom obtains the broken fang of Drakhalyx. He brings it to Revik Sojlforge, a grandmaster weaponsmith, to craft it into a powerful artifact dagger, The Emberfang.

    Revik deems part of the fang to be too fragile for weaponsmithing. He trims it off and brings it to his daughter, Elyrra (a master jeweler) to fashion into a piece of jewelry. Over the course of two years, she grinds it into a ring, The Emberlord’s Sigil, and enchants it with powerful magics from this realm and from the Elemental Plane of Fire.

    Renowned hero Serje Danzir defeats Caladom.

  • The Last Apprentice

    Sedrix becomes Herikyr’s new oathbound apprentice, replacing the role formerly held by Lorinathius.

  • Sedrix Captured; Herikyr Disappears

    Sedrix is captured by Shadowgasts during a planar experiment. Herikyr rescues him sometime later. She returns him to their home realm on the Prime Material plane, but the gate closes before she can follow. This is the last time anyone saw her.

  • The Scorched March and The Fall of Tartuk

    The Kingdom of Tartuk is set upon by Ignar the Inferno, a fire giant chief who amassed a powerful army with help from The Emberlord’s Sigil. Ignar wages an elemental war on the land. He and his fire elemental forces lay waste to the once-beautiful kingdom. Ignar is ultimately defeated thanks to Herikyr and other brave heroes, but the land is forever scarred and becomes The Blighted Wastes of Tartuk.

  • Angus Flintmantle writes of Ignar the Inferno

    As the aging generation of heroes who fought against The Scorched March pass on, Angus Flintmantle writes a cautionary tale of Ignar and his minions, the magma city lair deep beneath Grimstone Peak in the Shalestones, The Scorched March, and more.

  • Edric Rellian Writes of Mincreek

    Sage of the Astrivium and a devout Missionary of Valdor, Third Archivist Edric writes of his journey to Mincreek and mentions the unusual nature of the townsfolk, a hushed murmur of "Zjohlikraag", an chance encounter about Castius and his ring, and a powerful long-forgotten tyrant called Ignar the Inferno.

  • Nate Vancedral Discovered Outside Turas Fane

    A mysterious basket is found in a grove just outside Turas Fane. Inside, wrapped in blankets, is a half-elf baby with mysterious markings. The monks welcome him but soon notice strange occurances of flashing lights and strange noises around the monastery. As Nate grows older, the monks teach him how to harness and control his abilities.

  • Aalnor Leaves the Mines

    Not yet a druid, the young half-elf was sent to mine with the dwarves outside Ambervein by his father -- partly to 'teach him a lesson' and partly to escape the criticism of fellow council members who chastise the old man for having a half-breed son who lives like a homeless wildling. He was sent for a week, but spends a year with the dwarves instead. Nature is nature, whether in the woods or in the earth. After this, Aalnor begins his druidic training.

  • Haemond Joins the Priesthood

    On his fifteenth birthday, a human boy named Haemond pledges into the clergy. He spends the next 10 years training to become a battle priest.

  • Brother Siparis Finds Aji-Tona Rhuusq

    On the deep winter night of Coldark, Brother Siparis discovers the body of Aji-Tona Rhuusq on Mount Turas and carries him back to the monastery at Turas Fane. The monks take in the young half-orc and he trains there for the next 8 years.

    The PCs begin their adventures together.

    Corruption around the Tower of Herikyr begins to impact locals and travelers through the valley. Ildarach begins an investigation at the behest of Magevale, and sends the newly appointed young druid Aalnor to gather clues.

    Skag is hurled into this world from another place.

    Haemond is waylaid on the road and captured. He joins the adventurers after they rescue him from the goblin tribe in Redbeard's Outpost.
